David John Baker is a music researcher and educator passionate about questions at the intersection of music and science. His research research focuses on how tools from cognitive psychology and computational musicology can help understand cognition in ways only possible with music.
He currently works in the Computing Department at Goldsmiths, University of London as a Senior Research Associate on the TROMPA project. Prior to this role he has worked in data science education, on music industry projects, and has volunteered in the charity sector.
